Food Crisis in Afghanistan

Another human disaster unfolds in Afghanistan. As the prices of food have gone sky-high in this war-stricken country in the past few weeks, fear of a human catastrophe comes in at the door of every poor Afghan. This country, which is solely dependent on the imported food items, has to do nothing but to leave its ill-fated people helpless.

This food crisis has made it difficult for our orphanage’s administration as we need to provide all the needs for the children including exorbitant food items with a limited budget. Wheat flour and rice are the two main food items and their price has inflated with this rate:
