Afghanistan, August 1, 2006  CharityHelp International (www.charityhelp.org) and Revolutionary Association of Women of Afghanistan (www.rawa.org) are pleased to announce the opening of the third orphanage sponsored by the Orphanage Assistance Program (OAP).  The OAP is an activity of the International Humanities Center (www.ihcenter.org), a nonprofit public charity exempt from federal income tax under Section 501[c](3) of the United States Internal Revenue Code.

This new facility will immediately house 30 children with a total capacity of 50.  Most of these children come from conservative backgrounds in rural areas.  RAWA will provide new life experiences including introducing the children to many aspects of the modern world; i.e. cars, television, and computers.  The children will live in a home-like environment and attend school.   Most importantly, the children will have a bright and hopeful future free from the specters of poverty, homelessness, and child labor.

You can be a part of this exciting new endeavor!  It has never been easier to help change the lives of at-risk children.  For as little as $25 US per month, you can become a Silver Level Monthly Orphanage Sponsor.

Sponsor a Child
Create a life-enriching relationship with a sponsored child.  CharityHelp International will continue to bring low-cost communication technology to each orphanage, enabling them to send messages and pictures via the internet.  Develop a long-term relationship with a sponsored child via emails and photographs.  To sponsor a child today, please click on www.charityhelp.org/rawa

Help an Afghan Child with a One-time Donation
