Sponsorship Program Overview

We are committed to fostering children’s growth and access to opportunity by making sure they have the resources they need to succeed. We match sponsors with children through our partnering child-care organizations and our sponsorship portal to support these children’s basic needs, education, and access to opportunities. CHI ‘s Sponsorship Program is especially invested in cultivating an online environment where safety and security are our foremost concerns so that sponsors, children, and partnering child-care organizations don't have to think about them. With CHI, sponsors know that their donations are making it to the right hands, and children can trust that they will receive the support they need when they need it.

With CHI, sponsoring a child means more than just writing a check. It means building a meaningful relationship with a child and seeing them grow, learn, and seize a world of opportunities. We know from experience how important the relationship between sponsors and children is to making a long-term difference. CHI is committed to building strong sponsor-child relationships that we believe are fundamental to sustainable change. We use technology to create and support direct, long-term, relationships between children and their sponsors. We provide partnering child-care organizations with on-site resources, communication hardware, training, and secured remote access to our proprietary tools and services that facilitate ongoing communication with children’s sponsors. Being a CHI sponsor is an exciting interactive exchange of ideas, cultures, and on-going communication.

Think Renewables (TR), one of our partners, is constantly working on developing low-cost and reliable communication systems to help facilitate sponsor-child relationships. Each partnering child-care organization’s situation and needs are different, so TR's solutions aim to be adaptable and fitted to each organization. This means that depending on which partnering child-care organization a sponsor chooses to support a child through, communication experiences between sponsor and child are different and match each communities’ technological capacities.
